CashCall Lawsuit Proceeding in Federal Court

Plaintiffs defeated an effort by CashCall to have the entire putative class action lawsuit dismissed.


Plaintiffs defeated an effort by CashCall to have the entire putative class action lawsuit dismissed. In a ruling by Magistrate Judge James of the Northern District, the Court found that plaintiffs adequately alleged that CashCall made unauthorized withdrawals from consumer's checking accounts in the same month, made loans with unconscionable terms and engaged in harassing debt collection practices.
